Indialantic is incorporated as Indialantic-By-The-Sea, though this official name is seldom used
The town’s name is a mash-up of two words derived from the town’s location between the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re a wordsmith, this is called a “Portmanteau”. Who knew? Regardless, we are happy to fix air conditioners and heaters in this great Florida community!
